If you need to put your message in front of more prospects, then today’s tip could be a game-changer for your marketing efforts.
What I’m about to give you is an easy way to make your educational marketing materials available to more than 66 million people every month … without spending a single cent.
This strategy doesn’t involve advertising, mailing, speaking, networking or spamming. In fact, not only won’t you need any money, but you’ll get a few bucks every time someone reads your material.
Let me explain …
Last week, Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon.com, made a radical announcement about Kindle e-book sales. In case you missed the news, he revealed Kindle e-book sales have now outpaced the sale of hardcover books on Amazon.com.
During the past three months, Amazon.com has sold 143 Kindle books for every 100 hardcover books. In July, sales of e-books jumped to 180 sold for every 100 hardcover versions.
The minute I saw this information, I started digging to find out how to make my marketing materials available on Kindle. After all, once your information is accessible by Kindle, anyone can also get your content on an iPad, iPhone, Windows PC, Blackberry and Android phone. (Mobile marketing on these devices is exploding right now.)
*** Before I go any further, get rid of the belief you must write an entire book before you see your name on Amazon.com. A special report or collection of articles will work just fine for Kindle. You can even self-publish content as a blog or news feed. ***
Here’s the link to upload your content for Kindle: http://dtp.amazon.com. Again, there’s no fee — and you’ll have your marketing material on Amazon.com in fewer than 48 hours. You don’t even have to worry about margins, spacing or page numbers because Amazon.com’s software automatically converts your Microsoft Word file to the Kindle format.
If you run into trouble, here’s a step-by-step video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCc2oN9TFak.
According to Compete.com, Amazon.com (American’s largest online retailer) had 66,634,401 unique visitors in June. By simply having content on the site, you make your marketing message available to an audience that’s eight times larger than the population of New York City.
In addition, the Kindle Store boasts more than 630,000 books, including 104 of 112 New York Times Bestsellers. You’ll also find more than 50 top U.S. and international newspapers, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post and Financial Times. Magazines include The Economist, Newsweek, Time, The New Yorker, Forbes, Fortune and PC Magazine.
Imagine the credibility and exposure you’ll get by sharing “shelf space” with the world’s most well-known authors and publications.
At only $9.99, the Kindle edition of my new book, “The Reluctant Writer’s Guide to Creating Powerful Marketing Materials: 61 Easy Ideas to Attract Prospects and Get More Customers,” is half off the cover price. You can get access to the book today in less than at minute at http://amzn.to/dhcRH1.

Writing books is also a great way to build instant credibility and establish yourself as an expert in your niche. It doesn\’t matter whether your book ends up as a bestseller. You can always tell prospects and customers that you\’re an author. Helps in building trust a lot faster.

Great point, Farhad. If you believe writing a book is too time-consuming or difficult, a simple report/guide that addresses your prospects’ problems also gives you instant credibility. The key is to always share valuable knowledge. Not only will your prospects then use your information, but they’re also more likely to share your report/guide with others.
