Google just pulled back the veil on its closely guarded algorithmic adjustment announced last February.
And the results are worth noting because the change now affects 1 out of every 3 searches.
This news is especially troublesome for companies that don’t regularly update their websites or use them to deliver helpful information. After all, Google now gives priority to relevant and recent content when displaying search results. (You can read the Google announcement below.)
Here’s the reality …
The Internet is becoming the center of the marketing universe. If you haven’t adapted to an audience that can gather information in the blink of eye, you will soon get left behind.
Marketing grows more difficult by the day because people have instant access to insight. They can pull out their smartphones … check their iPads … grab their Kindles … or hop on a laptop at any time to get on the Internet. As a result, your prospects are more educated than ever before about what you and your competitors offer.
The situation is dire for any business stuck trying traditional “push” marketing messages.
I just recorded an 18-minute audio that describes where marketing is headed and what you must do to stay relevant with your prospects and clients.
